yeah you are right INS shortcut works, so only the help/tip while hovering over the button is incorrect.  :)

TS-Doctor 1.2 / feature idea: duplicate audiostream detecting.
« am: August 08, 2015, 03:50:16 »
Hi !

An idea for the future:
TS doctor is very good in deleting trash/not needed data to save space, lesser video size is always great.  :D

When there are more audio streams and I can deactivate/activate any of them it would be wonderful to have some kind of
"checksum" below PID Layer Check, and if it's the same with another audio stream then they are exactly the same.

If the audio format/type/codec is not the same such comparing is irreleveant (((maybe not even possible))), but in case of same audio format/type some streams are exactly the same so they can be trashed to save space.

Or any kind of indication/warning if some audio streams are the same. (Like "There are duplicate audio streams detected do you wish to deactive them?"

Or at least a settings option "automatically deactivate duplicate audio streams."

Thanks !

TS-Doctor 1.2 / shortcut bug: adding area
« am: August 08, 2015, 01:04:08 »
Hi !

small bug with shortcut: during cutting (video editing window)
after selecting area by setting marks the "add the area between the marks (Del)" button is available/highlights
and works ok if i click it,
BUT the shortcut button do not works (hitting DEL).
Maybe a different shortcut button is needed...

(( i think because DEL shortcut is for deleting ))

Keep up the good work, this is the best Util I ever payed for !!!!

TS-Doctor 1.2 / Re: Smaller bugs

Hi !

you misunderstood, the frame step funtcion works perfectly.
If i use mouse everything is ok, single frame step backward, forward.

bug is with keybind:
if i hover mouse pointer over button "-1F" the autotool help writes "jump one frame backward (-)"   indeed if I press key -   it jumps one frame back,

BUT if i hover mouse pointer over "+1F" the autohint is "jump one frame forward (-)"  so the same key/button is set to this function too.
so currently "-" is keybind to jump one frame backward, and ALSO for jump one frame forward.

(for example in case of "-1m" keybind is Shift+m
and "+1m" is m so its different to jump backward then forward.)

Thx !
P.S. I like beybind because the mouse clicks are disturbing to others in room, while keyboard is quiet :)

TS-Doctor 1.2 / Smaller bugs
« am: September 19, 2014, 05:31:24 »
Hi !

First let me thank you the hard work you put into this wonderful app.

Some bugs:
- when i reopen last video and its already deleted the warning/fault message is not english but german.

- I LOVE that during editing/cutting i can use keyboard shortcuts like "m" jumps 1 minute, etc.
But the frame step backward and forward is the same  :o  "-"  I believe 1 frame step forward should be "+" or sg else,
at the moment pressing "-" jump back-forward-back-forward

- fix before editing possible: I use it many times, works ok, but sometimes opening the fixed file changes the original destination folder
because the fix was saved to the original source folder.
So after fixing the app "forgets" the destination.

- shortcut "d" for delete last opened file with confirmation window including directory and filename, if I confirm and press again the previous
source is offered for deleting, so if there were source file and fixed source they can be deleted quickly into recycle bin.

TS-Doctor 1.2 / Re: No audio data written

Same "No audio data written" issue, closed tsdoctor, played one of the ts videos for a few second ((in mediaplayerclassic)), closed the player,
and restarted a fresh tsdoctor.
The same cuts (reload saved cutting areas->yes)  are done without problem (not even PC reboot was needed)

TS-Doctor 1.2 / Re: suggestion: Easier file management
« am: Dezember 04, 2013, 01:48:20 »
two small add:
- one source and one destination directory is enough, but if fix/repair needed before editing possible then the destination becomes the source, so I have to go back to original directory later.
So this fix save confuses the things.
In win7 during file browse window there is a arrow "jump to previous directory", if this windows parameter properly set then it would work like a charm.
Or if opening fiexed file doesn't change the source dir.

-play speed: it would be great to have an option to not reset play speed to 1x after each stop. So when I set 4x tu use during editing it won't reset.

Keep up the excellent work !

Take care  !

I had same issues (2% of the time, so rarely, 98% everything is ok), for example when cutting short sections too, nothing written, size is almost zero.
"No audio data written" warning window.

    without cut it saves ok.

then the very same cut on very same unfixed unedited raw original TS works like a charm!   :P

don't know why it does that.
( i had heart attack with a 11GB Hungarian music show that I might can"t cut it, then after reboot all ok, teatime :) )
((win7, no codecs only what is suggested by the app at tabs, for example vdub cant cut avi due to currently only the initial codecs are installed))

Didn't had this    "No audio data written" nothing written issue since the last 14 days or so, could be luck, could be former version was ok.

Hi !

I am trully satisfied with this great software, you guys are the best.

There would be two small ideas I dream about:
- menu (and shortcut) to delete last opened source file.    (configure at settings if yes/no asked for, and if recycle bin used or not)
(+ same to delete last created file.)

Also If I got two common source directory the sw can't remember both, a simple menu like jump to previous directory and
jump to present source directory would be great.
(+ the same for saving)

If you could implement even a little from above it would be great.
Best wishes

TS-Doctor 1.2 / bug with 1.2.5 cutting window closure?
« am: März 21, 2012, 01:42:41 »
Hello !

I like the new version, now I can cut the recordings more accurate, at "I" frames.

However 30% of time when I finish editing what to cut out and press OK button The program freeze and cutting window doesn't close.
70% everything ok, cutting window closes properly after pressing OK button, then the initial window returns, then the little window appear "Aligning cutting points" for a short time.
So the freeze is before this.
When I restart completly the SW and reopen the last video it even remembers the cut places i set before freeze. So it saves it before freeze.

I have two OS on the PC, this freezing is experienced on both (XP and Win7 64bit). But other applicatons are ok.
Also it happens with small recordings as well, and according to task manager the memory used by the app. varies too, so not related with its size either...
It happens when there is only 2 cuts, and doesn't with 22 cuts so this doesn't realted with the problem either.
It was ok previously (using version 1.1.x)

Current version is much much better and useful, only this bug is annoying :)
Anyone else having such issues?

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) / Licence for two?
« am: Dezember 27, 2011, 20:56:25 »
Hello !

I am thinking about buying this cool SW, however I was thinking to use mainly the TSDoctor at home on my desktop PC,
but occasionally also on my laptop during weekends.

Am I (1 user) allowed to use TSDoctor on two different Windows (XP and Win7) and computer if I purchase it?

I looked but found no information regarding this so far, and want to make sure if I buy it I don't get accidently banned or sg.  ;D
(Rules rulz   :D)

THanks !
