I have a file where TS-Doctor 3.2.33 will lock up and require Windows to force close, but TS-Doctor 2.2.24 will succeed in cleaning.
Is there a way to troubleshoot what is causing it?
Could you post the log file to that file the version 2.2.24 created?
I "raw cut" the larger recording down to an area surrounding the bad section which 3.2 still fails on and 2.2 still succeeds on. If there is a place to upload a 340 MB file, I could probably do that.
Did send you a private message.

No. Should I?
Edit: never mind. I was checking my emails in reverse order.
Were you able to find anything unusual?
Yes. That part has thousands of errors and TS-Doctor is not locking up but needs some minutes to process the problems. So you just have to wait a little bit.

What is 2.2 doing differently that allows it to run through the errors without pausing? On my computer the 3.2 interface freezes if I click anywhere on it while it is paused and Windows asks if I want to force close or wait. You can't reposition it on the monitor or anything.
Hi, the version 3.2 tries to recover as much data as possible, while version 2.2 just skip the broken area.
We will try to update the gui more often, so you can see that the application is still working on the file.
