Hi,

I have just purchased TS Doctor 2.2 and it works great with Netflix and Sky recordings (via a Hauppauge Colossus 2 device) but when I use it to fix Amazon Prime Videos I end up with no audio.

The weird thing is that MediaInfo reports the corrupted original file only has 5s of audio when actually the audio always plays for the full duration of the video (e.g. for 3 hours in the file below:)

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get audio to work on Amazon Video fixed files?

Cypheros

What are the audio settings for the Haupauge?

AAC or AC3?

What are the audio settings for the Haupauge? AAC or AC3?

I can't find any way to choose either however I do have LAV Audio AC3 decoders installed so I assume AC3 (and Netflix and Sky recordings do record using AC3 and they work fine.)

I generally record TV show episodes and one weird thing I have noticed is that when I play back the TS Doctor Fixed file, the initial mouse click is audible when I press Play, the Amazon 15 second promo trailer is audible too but as soon as the main video starts playing at around 20s the sound just stops and there is only silence.

I guess the audio codec is changing from AAC to AC3, what is not allowed regarding mpeg standards and maybe kill the audio playback. Try to cut off the promo trailer.

Thanks! Yes, that was it! If I wait until the promo trailer has finished and only start the recording once the main video starts then the audio is recorded correctly and plays back as expected.

Thank you for your help.
