What can I expect from remuxing?

Der TS-Doctor repariert nur das Nötigste. Wenn Du eine weitergehende Reparatur möchtest, kannst Du anschließend den TS Remuxer unter Experten-Werkzeuge verwenden, der repariert auch defekte Audio-Pakete bei AC3 und EAC3 indem er diese durch Nachbarpakete oder Stille ersetzt.

I have several TS recordings, typically 2 hrs long and containing 1 error (mostly audio) and a few warnings.
As an experiment I tried remuxing with TS Doctor. After that no errors were detected (warnings remained unchanged). However, at the error location a strong audio artefact is observed (a sort of vibrating sound) which makes remuxing without sense (at least for these recordings). Audio is AC3  5.1   48kHz   448 kBit.

If only one packet is defective, the previous packet is repeated. If more than one packet is demaged in row, the demaged packets are replaced by silence.
