TS Doctor 2.0 will not reinstall

Hello

I had a trial version of 2.0 installed and windows 10 upgraded to the Anniversary Edition. Unfortunately that version slowed my pc terribly so I reverted back to the previous build, thats where the problems started. TS-Doctor did not work so I tried to uninstall but that failed also, so then I tried a new install and that failed also. I get an error message that the previous version has not be removed and therefore it new install will not install.

Where and what are these files that need to be removed? Is there a simple solution.....

If you don't have the TS-Doctor setup file anymore, look into the TS-Doctor installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypheros\TSDoctor2\). In the folder "Setup", you should find the last used TS-Doctor setup (TSDoctor2_Eng.exe).
Execute that setup file. Setup will tell you, that this version is already installed and offers a repair installation. Do the repair installation and everthing should be fixed.

Unfortunately that directory was deleted in the process of trying to install a new copy of TS Doctor 2. I recreated the directory and installed copy of the install .exe, but still not luck as it say it can not delete a previous version.

Not sure what try next but I really want to use this software.

OK, last installed version seems to be 2.0.54.

Install this version to repair the installation: TS-Doctor 2.0.54 (English)

I have tried this also and I get the same error message.

" The older version of TSDoctor 2 cannot be removed. Contact your technical suport group."

Not sure what step to take next as this is great software and I really like it.

Could you post the full log, not only the error events of the TSDInstCheck2.exe tool?

Since I can not get the software to install there is not much for log data.

OK, you removed all registry keys but unfortunetly you can't uninstall applications this way. The problem is the hidden windows installation database that still has entries about the TS-Doctor installation.

If an installation is corrupted you can do a repair installation by installing the software again. This recreates all files and registry entries that are in the installation database and everything is fine. But is has to be the exact same installation file you used for the last installation. That's why TS-Doctor stores that installation file as a backup under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypheros\TSDoctor2\Setup".
Now as you purged all informations and files about the last installed version, I can't see what version is needed.

The last chance I see, except of a clean Windows install, is to use Microsoft Easy-Fixit and Program_Install_and_Uninstall.diagcab to fix the installation database.

OK, there are 3 different language versions available. Do you know if you installed the German, English or French version?

Do you have the " Product Code " as I am still trying to get your software uninstalled so that I can install it again.

The MS removal tool is asking for a product code!
