Some entries in the timeline have a number in brackets. What does that number indicate? I have also noticed today that the number which comes up in the info box is different, so maybe there's a little bug :o

The number separates shows with the same title.

I thought that might be the reason, but it's not working correctly. Looking at the screengrabs, there is only one episode of "If You Are The One" (showing 2), one episode of "Speed with Guy Martin" (showing 3), one episode of "Mythbusters" (showing 2), etc. There are three episodes of "Danger 5" shown and that is correct, but they have separate tabs anyway, so I don't see the need for the numbers in brackets. There's also another little problem with the bracketed numbers and that is that they don't agree with the popup information.

Maybe there is an episode before in the timeline. Could you post the log file?

But there are hickups in the tv guide. The list has to be continuous.
Even you are using the same DVB standards on the other side of our planet, maybe some small details are handled different.

Is it possible to upload a sample file like this to my FTP server, so I could analyze the reason for this malfunction?

tsduser

These duplicate entries seem to appear consistently when there is more than one input file from the recording, at least for ALi...

Perhaps it might be a good idea for the future to implement some logic in TSD to remove apparent duplicates (timestamp and title identical) from the EPG list presented.

I must admit, though, that these bracketed numbers' inconsistencies never caused any serious headache to me, personally.

jaydear

Cypheros: OK, I will organise a sample file.

tsduser: Yes, I am using an ALIDVR, and it is only a minor bug but it's good to get rid of bugs.
