I am trying to get subtitles from ATSC and IPTV streams. I have used the software for years and I have never seen a teletext or subtitle stream show up after loading a file. I have reviewed the subtitle settings but I just I have still not seen the part of the stream. I know that the ATSC streams have them since they are over-the-air antenna network television. Are there particular settings for ATSC or IPTV?

Thank you.

Hi, teletext subtitles and DVB subtitles are common for countries using the Wikipedia standard and most on this planet do ;) However, since the differences are minimal and are 99% based on the MPEG2 standard, TS-Doctor can handle most of them.

ATSC that you have in the States, is using EIA 608 for closed captions.
EIA 608 subtitles are embedded into the video stream data, not as separate PES streams. TS-Doctor doesn't touch them and even after cutting they should persists.
