Format converter, MKV aspect ratio

Hi, I have been using Tsdoctor to trim some BBC HD .ts files. This works fine. I then use Tsdoctor 'format converter' to put them in MKV container. For some reason it's changing the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3. I've done a forum search but con't find anyone with similar problems (in English!). I have verified this using Mediainfo utility. Interestingly, I converted some old (maybe 2 years) BBC HD recordings where Tsdoctor 'format converter' doesn't change the aspect ratio which is kind of strange?

Any ideas how to force 16:9 output?

Hi,

it seams that the converter has a problem to detect the correkt aspect ratio. There is no way to change this at the moment. I will try to implement such a function.

Thank you for the quick response! Until it's fixed I'll just remux with MKVmerge. It's interesting this is only a problem with newer recordings, older recordings work just fine with the correct aspect ratio. For your information I made the recordings with DVBviewer.
