Some videos - still audio delay

Sometimes (cca one case from 10) fixed ts file is not possible use for next conversion to MKV. After conversion to MKV is some audio delay.

One of my recordered fixed ts by TS Doctor which has this problem find below:

There is a strange jump of 19 seconds in the stream causing the problem.

Did you use another tool to cut the stream? This doesn't look like the type of cutting TS-Doctor is doing.

Working on next Beta 1.2.168, that will have a new option to detect and fix even short PCR jumps.

New Beta is online to fix that problem. Under Options/Preferences/Correction behavior set "PCR scan factor" at least to 4.

Then you get this message:

Unfortunately 1.2.168 beta did not help me with or wihout stream cutting   

I tryed even correction behavior set "PCR scan factor" on 100. In spite of that fact after conversion to MKV is still same audio delay like with TS-Doctor 1.2.166.
Will you try after stream fixing convert stream to MKV and will you see same like me (quick passthrough conversion to MKV without encoding is sufficient).

The original recording has many errors that mkvtoolnix can't compensate.

First you need to fix the PCR jump. It seams that there are 20 seconds missing in the original recording that needs to be fixed first.

After fixing that error there are additional problem areas that needs to be cutted out. So reopen the fixed file and use the attached cutting list. It should give you better result. Maybe there are more cuts needed to keep audio and video in synch in MKVToolnix.

You should check you receiving equipment, cables and connectors. If you want to convert to other formats, you should make sure that there are not so many reception errors. TS-Doctor can repair many things but can't bring back lost data and MKVToolnix is not very tolerant regarding errors.

If you stay with TS format, there is no synch problem but converting to other formats will create synch problems if there too many missing packets.
