Cutting doesn’t work with HD files

Hi everybody,
I'm facing an issue with Cutting: after clicking "Prepare cutting", the cutting window opens and the process stops before Video renderer and Audio renderer; the preview area remains black with message "Video preview", and no function is possible. This happens only with large files in HD, it works correctly with smaller files.
I retried after changes in the Preview preferences: Default MPEG splitter from AUTOMATIC to Haali Media Splitter (in reference to the subject "issue cutting HD streams" opened by lh1015 on September 29, 2011), and Default Video Renderer from AUTOMATIC to TS-Doctor Video Renderer, but it doesn't work better.
Configuration: Windows 8.1, TS-Doctor 1.2.161.

preferred settings (german, but I think you can guess what is what )


and you need to have the lav filter installed (supported tools section in the settings)

Thank you for this answer, however my settings are now exactly as advised and lav filters are installed, bur it does'n work better.
Additionaly I cannot post screenshots (I have a message telling that my computer is infected, and I don't believe it!).

What else can I do?

a message that your computer is infected is never a good sign

either it's scareware (don't click on it) or your antivirus programm
where do you see the message?

and how are making the screenshots?

anyway doesn't matter too much for this issue
I don't need any screenshots for proof

pls post the log that you get if you press the show directx log button

@jyb which audioformat is your stream using?
what does the log say if you switch to the lav splitter?

@cypheros haali specific issue or an unknown audio codec/container?

regarding audio format ... I would like to attach a screenshot but each time I try to attach an image I get this message:

Mmmmh... I have absolutely no other sign of a virus or something similar.

the main window of TS Doctor shows 3 audio channels with these infos:
E-AC3 Audio
2.0 (French) / (Reserved) / (qad)  [for the 3 channels respectively, the rest is identical]
48 kHz
128 kBit

Is it what you wish to know ?

Haali has problems with some AAC formats. Better to use LAV Splitter in that case.
